Everyday look

Soooo I’m back from London and I already miss it like crazy. One year went by so quickly. I studied Fashion business and media communication at London College of Fashion. It was both creatively and academically satisfying and I can really recommend studying in London if you’re interested in Fashion. It’s always good to get different perspective and even though I love Stockholm it doesn’t come close to being a fashion capital like London or Paris.

If anyone would like to know more about my education or my time in London just write in the comments, I would love to tell you guys more :)

Nu är jag är tillbaka från London och jag saknar det så mycket. Ett år gick så fort, jag förstår inte. Jag pluggade Fashion business and media communication på London Collage of fashion.

So, this is the result of my fashion editorial photoshoot I did a couple of months ago. Victorian Grace was the name of the shoot and I’m really proud of how the pictures turned out! This was one of my big assignment for my fashion styling class. I’m very lucky because I got my sweet, sweet friend Laetitia to model and Tilda to do the photography. This made it possible for me to just focus on the styling, which is what I truly love to do! We went up to the Kenwood house in Hampstead, London, on the northern boundary of Hampstead. It is an amazing place to go to if you just want to get out of the big city life of London for a wile and prefect for an victoriana photoshoot.

As I’ve said before I’m currently studying fashion business at London College of Fashion and I’ve just ended my first semester. Even though it’s challenging from time to time I can honestly say that it’s one of my best decision I’ve every made. London is such a great place to study fashion. Everywhere you look you’ll see  fashion being styled in different ways, and everything is accepted in London. The city is inspiring. And the education you get from London College of Fashion (as is part of University of the Arts London) is high quality and taught by people working in the fashion industry which is an importation part of the education.

ICING on my cake

Every year trend forecasters finds a color that will be ‘the color of the year’. This year we actually have two color :D. Here is just some examples from the fall/winter ready-to-wear shows. Mostly BALMAIN, but I couldn’t help myself.. I really like the ruffles!

The color of the year is called Rose Quartz and Serenity, joined together to demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.

Editorial styling project ; VICTORIANA – Moodboard

I’m currently studying Fashion Business at London College of Fashion. This is my first semester and I already feel like it has given me so much. Just before I moved to London I studied Styling at Stockholms Tillskärarakademi (The Academy of cutting and tailoring in Stockholm) and that’s where I found my passion for styling. I’ve always known that I want to work in fashion but with it being such a big industry it’s hard to know all the areas you can work in. But you can really say that I found my calling.

Anyway, this is my moodboard for an editorial fashion styling project we did in my Fashion Styling class. The theme of the editorial was VICTORIANA.
